Deploying a static site the hard way - Part 1
Deploying a static site has never been easier - you can find a template online, drop it into GitHub Pages and have a full site deployed in minutes.
There’s a lot of guides on online on how to do that. For a while now I’ve been meaning to make a resource that collates the best practices for deploying a static site at every level - from getting a VPS to setting up TLS to getting analytics up and running.
This will be a four part series going over how to deploy a static site from the bottom up.
